WorkSafe NZ Electrical Safety Alerts

This page collects electrical safety alerts published by WorkSafe New Zealand, so NZ electricians can see the ones that affect their work without reading every WorkSafe news item. WireWrite checks the WorkSafe news feed once a day and keeps only items about electrical work — wiring, switchboards, RCDs, mains and power lines, high voltage, electric shock, arc flash, solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers. Alerts older than 90 days are dropped. Each alert links to the original notice on worksafe.govt.nz.

Other places to check

• WorkSafe New Zealand — the regulator for electrical safety, including energy safety notices and investigation findings.
• Product Recalls NZ — recalls of electrical appliances and fittings, which matter when you're replacing like-for-like or advising a customer.
• Electrical Workers Registration Board — notices on registration, licensing and competence requirements.
