Seat prices are exclusive of GST — 15% is added at checkout. Example: 1 seat = NZ$5/month + GST; 3 seats = NZ$15/month + GST. Annual billing is paid up front and locks in the rate for the year.
Already on Pro? Nothing changes — manage it under Settings → Billing. You can move to per-seat any time; cancel Pro first so you aren't billed twice.
Adjusting seats
Open Manage Billing in WireWrite to add or remove seats. Stripe prorates the change for your current billing period, and new seats are ready to invite from Team Management straight away.
You can invite as many people as you have seats. If you try to invite more, WireWrite will prompt you to add a seat first.
The iPhone & iPad app
The WireWrite app on the App Store is included with every seat at no extra cost — download it and sign in with your existing account. There's nothing to buy inside the app.
Apple's App Store guidelines let an app like this be used with a subscription bought outside the app only when it's sold to businesses. That's why WireWrite is sold per seat to your business, even if the business is just you.
On an older Individual Pro plan the native app isn't available, but WireWrite still runs in the browser on any phone or tablet.
Managing your subscription
Subscription management is handled through Stripe's secure customer portal. Open the Settings page in WireWrite and click Manage Billing to:
- Add or remove seats
- Switch between monthly and annual billing
- Update your payment card
- Download past invoices and receipts
- Update your billing address
- Cancel your subscription
Invoices & GST
All invoices are generated by Stripe on behalf of Phase Logic Ltd and available for download from the billing portal. Each invoice is a valid tax invoice for NZ GST purposes.
NZ GST number: 146-944-406. GST is added to seat prices at checkout. Every invoice includes the company name, GST number, invoice number, date, line items, GST amount and total — meeting Inland Revenue's tax invoice requirements for input credit claims.
To download an invoice: Settings → Manage Billing → Invoices tab. Each invoice is a downloadable PDF.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then.
After that your account drops to the Free plan. You have 90 days to sign in and download PDFs of the certificates you've issued — after that they may be permanently deleted, so keep your own copies. On the Free plan you can issue up to 3 certificates in any rolling 30 days (with WireWrite branding on the PDF); those are kept for 90 days from issue. Re-subscribing at any time restores full access and brings back all your saved drafts.

How much does WireWrite NZ cost?
WireWrite NZ is sold per seat: NZ$5 per seat per month or NZ$60 per seat per year, plus GST. Sole traders buy 1 seat; teams add a seat for each person who issues certificates. Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets a 30-day free trial with every feature. No card is required to start. You will only be charged if you choose to continue at the end of the trial.
I'm a sole trader. Which plan do I need?
Buy 1 seat. There is only one plan, so a sole trader gets exactly the same features as a team, including the iPhone and iPad app. If you take someone on later, add a seat for them.
I'm already on Individual Pro. What changes?
Nothing. Existing Pro subscriptions carry on at the same price with the same features; manage yours under Settings, then Billing. You can move to per-seat billing any time (for example to get the iPhone app); cancel Pro first so you aren't billed twice.
Does WireWrite issue valid NZ GST invoices?
Yes. Every invoice is generated by Stripe on behalf of Phase Logic Ltd (GST number 146-944-406) and includes the company name, GST number, invoice number, date, line items, GST amount and total. Invoices are downloadable as PDF from the billing portal and meet Inland Revenue's tax invoice requirements.
How do I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Open the Settings page in WireWrite, click Manage Billing, and select the billing period you want. Stripe prorates the difference automatically: if you switch from monthly to annual mid-cycle, you are credited for the unused portion of the current month. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at the next renewal.
Can I add or remove seats mid-month?
Yes. Add or remove seats from Manage Billing at any time. Stripe prorates the seat cost from the day you add it through to the next renewal, and a removed seat is credited on your next invoice. You can invite as many people as you have seats.
How do I cancel my WireWrite subscription?
Click Manage Billing on the Settings page and cancel from the Stripe portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until that date. After that your account drops to the Free plan: you can still sign in and download every certificate you've issued, and issue up to 3 certificates in any rolling 30 days with WireWrite branding on the PDF.
Why is WireWrite sold per seat rather than as a personal plan?
Because of Apple's App Store rules. Apple lets an app like WireWrite be used with a subscription bought outside the app only when it is sold to businesses. Selling per seat to your business, even if the business is just you, means every seat can include the iPhone and iPad app.

All past invoices are available in the Stripe billing portal under the Invoices tab. Click Manage Billing from the Settings page to open the portal. Each invoice is a downloadable PDF and includes all the fields required to claim a GST input credit.
